Integration and Data Engineering connects operational systems and normalizes business information so it can be used consistently across commerce operations. It is the groundwork that makes everything above it — reporting, automation, AI — possible rather than approximate.
The problem underneath most other problems
Two systems calling the same thing by different names is not a data quality issue in the abstract. It is the reason a report takes three days, an automation cannot be trusted, and an AI answer is confidently wrong.
Most requests that arrive as "we need a dashboard" or "we want AI on this" resolve, on inspection, to information that has no single agreed shape.

Where mPorts software is involved, each outside system is connected once and every part of mPorts uses that same connection, rather than each application building and maintaining its own.

- No. The work is about your systems and your information. Whether mPorts software ends up involved is a separate question.

- Ask and we will check rather than guess. Whether a specific system is connected depends on the integration that exists for it.
