What we collect

When you submit a form, we receive what you typed into it: your name, business email, company, optional website, what you are trying to improve, and any additional context you chose to add. We also record which page you submitted from and which language you were reading, so we can reply usefully.

If website analytics are enabled, we record which pages are viewed, which calls to action are used, and which language is selected. These records carry a controlled set of properties and are used to understand how the site is used.

What we deliberately do not collect

Analytics never receives the contents of a form. What you type into a message field goes to the people who will read and answer it, and nowhere else.

Analytics never receives an email address, a phone number, a name, or any free-text field. The set of properties an event may carry is fixed in advance, and anything outside that set is discarded before it leaves your browser.

Attribution

We record how a visit arrived — for example a search engine, a campaign parameter, or a referring site’s hostname. Only the hostname of a referring site is kept, never the full referring address, because a full address can contain information belonging to that other site.

This is stored in your browser and is used to understand which channels bring people here.

You can clear the information this site stores in your browser at any time using your browser’s site data controls.
